About Scales Electrical Service of Winston-Salem

Scales Electrical Service began as a vision in 2015. We worked in the Electrical industry for many years, becoming familiar with a variety of heavy tools and different aspects of managing projects. Long hours and a growing number of projects that required long travel to faraway parts of the country began to feel troublesome. We still love the work. One particular pattern we've seen over the years working construction was that quite often people don’t realize what will be needed for their home renovations. It’s easy to envision a new bedroom or den, finishing the basement, or even adding a garage. But there’s a lot more that goes into any of those additions than safe structural work. Unfortunately, when certain details aren’t accounted for it can cause the need to double back and re-address them later. This isn’t ideal for anyone involved. Having seen that happen at other companies, we are committed to working with customers to avoid that wherever possible to create a cohesive experience.

A lot has changed in recent years, from the construction standards put in place as homes are built to the needs of the average family. This has put some new demands on the typical home’s electrical systems in terms of power output and amenities.Our goal, especially on new construction projects, is to help homeowners truly get everything they’d envisioned from the home. Many general contractors will build houses from a template design, so amenities are standardized. But what if that homeowner really wanted extra plugs in the kitchen or ceiling lighting somewhere specific? Or what if the owner is a heavy tech user that simply has higher than average power demands? In short, it’s important to “make sure the system supports the homeowner’s dreams.”
