There are several options for home charging stations, but we can help you select and install the right one for your needs. Some ports use a regular three-prong 120-volt connection, which is simpler to install but doesn’t charge your vehicle as quickly. This method is recommended for overnight charging and not for when you’re only home for a few hours.The other primary solution for charging stations is the 240-volt route. This requires installation within a dedicated 40-amp circuit (at the minimum). This connection uses the same wiring setup as your clothes dryer. The major benefit is that it will charge your vehicle much faster — more than twice as fast in many cases.
